Hybrid Feature Selection Method for Improving File Fragment Classification
Identifying types of file fragments in isolation from their context is an essential task in digital forensic analysis and can be done with several methods.

High‐aspect‐ratio low‐melting‐point alloy inclusions are embedded within multilayer silicone laminates to create thermally programmable stiffness. Sequential activation of alloy‐rich layers produces four distinct mechanical states and reconfigures tendon‐driven actuator trajectories under the same load.

Dense tactile streams from across the humanoid body converge on collide in a central wiring and data bottleneck. By relocating computation closer to and then into the skin itself, near‐ and in‐sensor architectures, together with neuromorphic computing, chart a path toward perception‐native electronic skin, in which the conversion of stimulus into ...

CD9+ B Cells Induce T Follicular Helper Cell Apoptosis to Regulate Germinal Center Regression
A unique subset of CD9+ B cells regulates germinal center B (GC‐B) cell regression by inducing T follicular helper (Tfh) cell apoptosis through multiple signaling pathways, such as ALCAM‐CD6. FOXP1 plays a key role in GC‐B cell differentiation. These findings clarify mechanisms of GC degeneration and termination and offer potential targets for adenoid ...

This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

Charting Endocrine Progenitors Across Species and Organs
Endocrine progenitors give rise to the hormone‐producing cells of the pancreas and intestine. Using single‐cell multiomics and proteomics, this study compares these progenitors across species, systems, and organs, mapping the conserved and species‐specific gene regulatory networks that guide their formation.

The pre‐regenerative vascular niche (PVN) is essential for nerve repair, yet its endothelial blueprint remains unclear. We identified angiogenic ECs (AECs) as the dominant pre‐regenerative subset and found that antler blood–derived exosomes (AB‐EXO) promote repair via IMP3.

The file fragment classification problem : a combined neural network and linear programming discriminant model approach [PDF]
MSc (Computer Science), North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2013The increased use of digital media to store legal, as well as illegal data, has created the need for specialized tools that can monitor, control and even recover this data.
