Capillary Filling of Polymer Chains in Nanopores
We performed molecular dynamics simulations with a coarse-grained model to investigate the capillary filling dynamics of polymer chains in nanopores. Short chains fill slower than predicted by the Lucas-Washburn equation but long chains fill faster. The analysis shows that the combination of the confinement effect on the free energy of chains and the ...

Design of 3‐aminophenol‐grafted polymer‐modified zinc sulphide nanoparticles as drug delivery system
Zinc sulphide (ZnS) nanoparticles were synthesized by the coprecipitation method. The ZnS nanoparticle surface was polymerized with allyl glycidyl ether (AGE), and 3‐aminophenol was then deposited as a ligand on nanosorbent.

Nozzle clogging factors during fused filament fabrication of spherical particle filled polymers
Fused filament fabrication with reinforced or filled polymers provides improved material properties compared to ordinary feedstock. A current limitation of these materials is the occurrence of nozzle clogging at higher filler contents.
