Enterocystometry: Impact of Filling Rate
Journal of Urology, 2003We evaluated different enterocystometric parameters at different filling rates.A total of 20 male patients who underwent radical cystoprostatectomy and orthotopic detubularized ileal reservoirs with at least 1 year of followup were the material of this study. Enterocystometry was done with a slow fill rate (10 ml. per minute).

Filling rates of long liquid-filled capillaries
Journal of Applied Physics, 1973Fused quartz capillaries 700 and 1200 m long and 100 μm in inside diameter have been filled under hydrostatic pressure. It is verified that the rate of filling is governed by Poiseuille's law, which predicts the filled length to be proportional to the square root of the filling time. At a pressure of 270 atm, 250 m was filled in 1 h, 800 m in 10 h, and

Skeleton Filling Rate for Shape Recognition
2014 22nd International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 2014As an increasing number of digital images are generated, a demand for an efficient and effective image retrieval mechanisms grows. In this work, we present a new skeleton-based shape retrieval algorithm, which starts by drawing circles of increasing radius around skeleton points.

Circle filling rate descriptor for object recognition
2013 21st Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2013Research on shape recognition has shown that a number of recognition approaches in the literature are sensitive to rotation. In this work, we present a shape description technique, which is based on the local shape filling rate of object silhouettes.

Opioid prescription fill rates after emergency department discharge
American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, 2016Opioid prescription fill rates and the time to fill after emergency department (ED) discharge were studied.Data were evaluated for all patients discharged from the ED between September 1, 2011, who were February 1, 2012, who were diagnosed with one of the following: dental pain, jaw pain, flank pain, abdominal pain, pelvic pain, back pain, neck pain ...

Effective Filling Rate in Filling Mining’s Influence on Overlying Strata’s Movement
Advanced Materials Research, 2013Similarities and differences of overlying strata movement rule and abutment pressure distribution between filling stope and traditional strope was analysied guided by “practical mine pressure control theory ”. The admissible condition of strata’s depending from bending failure to caving was put forward, and caving zone’s height was analysied on the ...

Importance of adjusting left ventricular diastolic peak filling rate for heart rate
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1988Abstract Recently, the importance of left ventricular (LV) diastolic function for cardiac performance in various diseases has been reported in studies using both digitized M-mode echocardiography 1,2 and radionuclide ventriculography. 3 However, the potential influence of physiologic factors, including heart rate (HR), loading conditions and LV ...

Interlibrary Loan Fill Rates: The Audiovisual Conundrum
Journal of Interlibrary Loan,Document Delivery & Electronic Reserve, 2010Fill rate is often presented as one of the most important benchmarks for evaluating interlibrary loan and document delivery services. But should this be the case?

Fill-Rate Bottlenecks in Production-Inventory Networks
Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, 1999The bottleneck in a production-inventory network is commonly taken to be the facility that most limits flow through the network and thus the most highly utilized facility. A further connotation of “bottleneck,” however, is the facility that most constrains system-wide performance or the facility at which additional resources would have the greatest ...
