Thickness Distribution of Evaporated Films

Optical Interference Coatings, 1988
In order to set up a vacuum chamber for coating a number of large parts, or perhaps a large number of small parts, it is of importance to know the emission characteristics (source function) of the evaporation source.

On trap distributions in diphenylpolyene films

Physica Status Solidi (a), 1972
Injection currents in diphenylbutadiene (DPB), diphenylhexatriene (DPHT), and diphenyloctatetraene (DPOT) films obtained by thermal vacuum deposition have been studied. From temperature measurements of the space-charge-limited currents (SCLC) the trap parameters are determined and the current carrier mobility are calculated in films of the studied ...

Thickness Distribution in Thin Film

Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1977
Abstract A thickness distribution function is used to describe the non-uniformity of thickness in thin films. A method to determine the thickness distribution function is proposed and applied to r.f. diode-sputtered ultrathin films of platinum deposited onto liquid-nitrogen-cooled quartz substrates.

Thin Film Distributed Phase Plates

Workshop on Optical Fabrication and Testing, 1987
The intensity distribution in the quasi-far-field plane of a high-power laser beam is often dominated by the phase variations in the near field amplitude distribution. Diffraction limited performance can be obtained with static phase correction, adaptive optics or phase conjugation, but presently these approaches are expensive, difficult to implement ...

Distribution of4He film flow rates

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 1994
Abstract We have recently been able to make measurements of the flow rate in 4 He films over a glass substrate at 0.5s intervals with a relative accuracy of ±0.4%. The results clearly establish that there exists a number of different but highly-reproducible flow states for given substrate and experimental conditions.

Film Distribution in Film Studies

2018
This chapter locates the study of film distribution within the field of film studies. It highlights the importance of film distribution studies and situates this in the Philippine context. The chapter then explains the different approaches to film studies and surveys the related literature on independent cinema and film distribution studies.
