Filtering surgery in childhood glaucoma.
Ophthalmic surgery, 1984A review of 38 eyes of 24 patients receiving filtration surgery for childhood glaucoma is presented. A total of 54 procedures were performed, including both thermal sclerostomies and trabeculectomies. Successful control of intraocular pressure was obtained in 20 eyes (52%). Average follow-up time was four years, two months.

Late Hyphema After Filtering Surgery for Glaucoma
Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 1983SUMMARY Four eyes of three patients developed spontaneous hyphemas eight months to three years after uncomplicated glaucoma filtering surgery. In two of the four eyes abnormal vessels could be seen at the internal margin of the trabeculectomy opening.
