Enhancing diabetic foot osteomyelitis diagnosis with metagenomics next‐generation sequencing, proof of concept

The use of mNGS with the MinION tool clearly provides a significant advantage compared to routine culture by identifying a higher diversity of pathogens in diabetic foot osteomyelitis.
