Reducing Ion Transport Friction by Mitigated Diluent‐Solvent Interaction for Sodium–Sulfur Battery
A local high‐concentration electrolyte to balance the ionic conductivity and interfacial stability is developed through replacing the high solvating DME with the moderate solvating diethyl ether to mitigate the diluent‐solvent interaction and reduce the local dynamic friction for Na+ transport, while maintaining the anion‐rich solvation clusters and ...

Sulfide‐Based Electrolytes for All‐Solid‐State Sodium Batteries
This review covers the structural features and synthesis strategies of sulfide‐based solid electrolytes, as well as critical challenges related to conductivity, interfacial and moisture stability, and scaling‐up for practical application in Sodium‐based All Solid‐State Batteries.

Adoption of Green Technology with Financial Friction
We investigate firms’ incentives to adopt green technology. To cover the adoption costs, a firm needs a bank loan. The bank cannot observe firms’ adoption costs and offers a loan contract that allows it to earn an intermediation margin. The Pigouvian tax leads to optimal abatement but inefficiently low adoption. The first-best outcome is achieved via a

Sudden stops and financial frictions : evidence from industry level data [PDF]
The nature of the microeconomic frictions that transform sudden stops in output collapses is not only of academic interest, but also crucial for the correct design of policy responses to prevent and address these episodes and the lack of evidence on this

The effect of labor and financial frictions on aggregate fluctuations [PDF]
This paper embeds labor market search frictions into a New Keynesian model with financial frictions as in Bernanke, Gertler and Gilchrist (1999). The econometric estimation establishes that labor market frictions substantially improve the empirical fit ...

A combination of discrete and finite element method models for the current collector deformation and electrochemical performance analysis, respectively. The models are calibrated and validated with electrochemical and imaging data of hard carbon electrodes. These electrodes were manufactured with different parameters (slurry solid contents of 35 and 40

ABSTRACT Rational actors constantly incorporate information into their decision‐making behavior. Since there is often a time lag between the announcement of a policy and its implementation, an important question arises: when do rational actors incorporate new information into their market behavior, at the announcement or at the implementation of a ...

International Capital Flows and World Output Gains [PDF]
We develop a two-country overlapping-generations model with domestic financial frictions and show that cross-country differences in financial development explain three recent patterns of international capital flows.

ABSTRACT This study examines food price inflation rate convergence among EU27 Member States from 2005 to 2024, focusing on structural breaks, external shocks, and regional disparities. Using panel unit root tests and club convergence analysis, the findings reveal no overall convergence but identify multiple convergence clubs.
