Financial Network Models [PDF]
, 2020 This thesis studies flexible network reconstruction models to generate realistic financial networks with the aim to enable a detailed assessment of systemic risk. Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived under which the methodology of ERGMs offers a solution to reconstruct matrices that satisfy given row and column sums.
