Variation in correlation between prognosis and histologic feature based on biopsy selection [PDF]
Glioblastoma multiform carries a dismal prognosis with poor response to gold standard treatment. Innovative data analysis methods have been developed to characterize tumor genomic expression with histologic features. In a clinical setting, biopsy selection methods may be constrained by time and financial burden to the patient.

Fine needle aspiration biopsy of ophthalmic tumors
A majority of intraocular tumors can be diagnosed based on clinical examination and ocular imaging studies, which obviate the need for diagnostic ophthalmic fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB). Overall, diagnostic accuracy of ophthalmic FNAB is high but limited cellularity can compromise the diagnostic potential of ophthalmic aspirate samples.

AS programs employ a fixed schedule of biopsies for all patients. Such fixed and frequent schedules, may schedule unnecessary biopsies for the patients.

ABSTRACT Background and Methods Surgery remains the standard of care for non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) but is applicable to ≤ 30% of patients. Pulsed Electric Fields (PEF) ablation uses short‐duration, high‐voltage electrical pulses to induce cell death without relying on thermal mechanisms.
