Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.This study reports the fabrication of trabecular bioactive glass scaffolds (composition “1d”: 46.1SiO2‐28.7CaO‐8.8MgO‐6.2P2O5‐5.7CaF2‐4.5Na2O wt%) through vat photopolymerization and the relevant results from mechanical testing and in vivo implantation procedures in rabbit femora, showing great promise for bone tissue engineering applications.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Grinding chips of high‐alloyed steel are prepared to be admixed to a starting powder mixture for laser powder bed fusion. A three‐stage preparation is performed, including washing in acetone, magnetic separation, and ball milling.
