Pay transparency and productivity

open access: yesStrategic Management Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Research Summary This article investigates the productivity consequences of pay transparency. Tracking the research output of 20,000 US academics and leveraging staggered shocks to transparency, we show that productivity responses vary predictably based on what pay transparency reveals.

Low profile, high impact: How the visibility of political agents shapes corporate political influence

open access: yesStrategic Management Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Research Summary This study examines how corporate political influence in developed democracies is more likely to occur where visibility is lower, both in terms of the actors involved and of the points of influence in allocation processes. Using novel data on politically exposed persons across 28 European countries (2011–2017), I distinguish ...

Evolution of Pore Volume During Stripping of Lithium Metal in Solid‐State Batteries Observed with Operando Dilatometry

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A dedicated dilatometric measurement setup for operando tracking of the pore volume is developed and validated. Using this approach, pore formation kinetics is analyzed, and the pore volume is quantified. By combining dilatometric data with impedance measurements, a deeper understanding of the pore formation mechanism is achieved, revealing that pores ...

A Facile Platform for One‐Step Generation of Uniform Microdroplets through Dehydration‐Driven Phase Separation in Microfluidics

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel droplet generation method that exploits the intrinsic water absorption of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) microchannels. A homogeneous polyethylene glycol/dextran mixture is gradually dehydrated, leading to phase separation and the formation of uniform DEX‐rich droplets.
