High-Resolution Mid-Infrared Morphology of Cygnus A [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We present subarcsecond resolution mid-infrared images at 10.8 and 18.2 microns of Cygnus A. These images were obtained with the University of Florida mid-IR camera/spectrometer OSCIR at the Keck II 10-m telescope.

Food Addiction Is Strongly Associated With Psychopathology and Reduced Psychological Well‐Being Among Adults Irrespective of BMI

open access: yesEuropean Eating Disorders Review, Volume 34, Issue 1, Page 79-91, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Food addiction has been linked to psychopathology and reduced psychological well‐being. Here, we investigated whether these associations are mainly driven by food addiction itself or mediated via an increase in BMI. Methods Data stem from a nationwide survey from Denmark (n = 1474 participants).

Safety Considerations in Deployment of Robotic Systems – A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, Volume 43, Issue 1, Page 5-33, January 2026.
ABSTRACT An in‐depth understanding of the risks related to robotic systems is crucial to guarantee safety throughout all stages of robot design and operations. This required a thorough risk assessment following international standards. This study presents a systematic review of previous research on safety considerations in the design of robotic systems,

Young Versus Old: Does Forest Age Regulate Water and Dissolved Carbon Processes Belowground?

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Forest plantations are widespread globally. Young forest plantations (hereafter young forests) differ from natural old‐growth forests (hereafter old forests) in above‐ and below‐ground structures, shaping water and carbon cycling processes. While above‐ground differences are well studied, below‐ground hydrology and biogeochemical processes ...

Primordial black hole formation with non-Gaussian curvature perturbations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In the context of transient constant-roll inflation near a local maximum, we derive the non-perturbative field redefinition that relates a Gaussian random field with the true non-Gaussian curvature perturbation.

Fetal exposure to a mixture of endocrine‐disrupting chemicals and biomarkers of male fecundity: A population‐based cohort study

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 14, Issue 1, Page 76-89, January 2026.
Abstract Background Fetal exposure to endocrine‐disrupting chemicals (EDCs) has been associated with reduced male fecundity, but with few studies considering chemical mixtures. Objectives We assessed the association between fetal exposure to a mixture of EDCs and biomarkers of male fecundity in young adulthood.
