Strongly coupled fine particle clouds in fine particle (dusty) plasmas
Contributions to Plasma Physics, 2017Based on driftâdiffusion equations, we show a large enhancement of the charge neutrality in fine particle clouds analytically and confirm it by numerical solutions, in both cases of microgravity and gravity. This observation enables us to construct simple models of fine particle clouds in both cases.

Electrical Engineering, 1957
The unusual properties of fine-particle magnetic materials offer challenging opportunities for research aimed at the development of powerful new permanent magnets. In this article, the permanent-magnet properties of fine particles are summarized and compared with those predicted on a theoretical basis.

Flocculation of Fine Particles
1992The basic principles of colloid stability, destabilisation and flocculation are reviewed, starting from the effects of simple salts. The role of adsorbed materials, especially polymers, on stability is considered in some detail and some practical implications are discussed. Factors influencing the rate of flocculation are outlined and the importance of
