The Fine Structure of the Microwave Absorption Spectrum of Oxygen

Physical Review, 1950
By means of a Zeeman modulation microwave spectrometer used with a lock-in amplifier, the 5 millimeter wave absorption lines of oxygen have been measured at low pressures, where they are completely resolved. Precise measurements of the frequencies of the lines have been made, and uniform deviations from the frequencies predicted by the theoretical ...

Fine and hyperfine structure in the atomic spectrum of niobium

The European Physical Journal D, 2006
A parametric analysis of the fine and the magnetic dipole hyperfine structure for the three configurations of odd parity 4d35s5p, 4d45p and 4d25s25p was performed. Effective one-electron parameters were determined and theoretical predictions are given for the magnetic dipole hyperfine structure constants A for the levels of these three configurations ...

Fine Structure and Predissociation in the Spectrum of Calcium Hydride

Nature, 1933
IN 1925 Mulliken1 reported a band system, emitted by the CaH molecule, and having a very unusual structure. It is composed of singlet P and R branches, which are abruptly cut off at P (11½) and R (9½). It was generally assumed that this band, shortly named the (C-band, corresponds to a 2C2 transition, and that the non-appearance of doublet components ...

Fine-splitted autoionising-like resonance spectrum

Physics Letters A, 1988
Abstract The extension of the known two-discrete-level atomic model of autoionising-like resonance (ALR) to the third level is shown to be necessary in order to explain the recent experimental results in this field.

Fine Structure of the Cl2 Quadrupole Resonance Spectrum

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1959
Calculations are made which indicate that the observed splitting of the Cl2 quadrupole resonance spectrum arises from isotope effects on the thermal motions of the Cl2 molecules. The type of motion considered is a torsional oscillation of the molecules about their centers of gravity.
