Role of Temporal Fine Structure and Envelope in Identifying Ragas: A Prospective Study for Temporal Based Raga Classifier

open access: yesAuditory and Vestibular Research
Background and Aim: A raga is characterized by its distinctive melodic shape. The ability to perceive intricate melodic and pitch patterns depends on the Temporal Envelope (ENV) and Fine Structure (TFS).

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Refinement of amino‐acid conformation vs. difference density maps in time‐resolved serial femtosecond crystallography data analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Coding without fine structure [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Logic, 1997
In this paper we prove Jensen's Coding Theorem, assuming ˜ 0#, via a proof that makes no use of the fine structure theory. We do need to quote Jensen's Covering Theorem, whose proof uses fine-structural ideas, but make no direct use of these ideas. The key to our proof is the use of “coding delays.”Coding Theorem (Jensen).

Emerging insights into CC and CXC chemokines and their receptors in Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The dual roles of CC and CXC chemokines in distinguishing active, latent, and subclinical tuberculosis were reviewed, along with an evaluation of their potential as diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets to advance precision medicine in tuberculosis management. The graphical abstract was generated with AI assistance (Gemini 3.0).
