On fingerprint theorems

Fingerprint theorems, i.e. under what conditions the primal sketch can determine the image uniquely, are discussed. The weakness of A.L. Yuille and T. Poggio's fingerprint theorem (1986) is pointed out and two novel 1-D fingerprint theorems are presented.

On Mixing Fingerprints

This work explores the possibility of mixing two different fingerprints, pertaining to two different fingers, at the image level in order to generate a new fingerprint. To mix two fingerprints, each fingerprint pattern is decomposed into two different components, viz., the continuous and spiral components.

Report is made of a study of fingerprints on a series of schizophrenics. This series was comprised of 100 males, rigidly screened as to diagnosis and possible complicating conditions and factors. Certain special trends in fingerprint patterns were noted.

Fingerprinting Curves

This paper presents a new method for robust data hiding in curves and highlights potential applications including digital fingerprinting of map document for trace and track purposes. We parameterize a curve using the B-spline model and add a spread spectrum sequence to the coordinates of the B-spline control points.
