Computing Extended Connectivity Fingerprints
A fingerprint is a useful kind of low-resolution molecular representation. Fingerprints come in a many forms and have been applied to a diverse range of problems over the last few decades. Extended Connectivity Fingerprints (ECFPs, or “Circular Fingerprints”) offer a number of advantages over other schemes.

Molecularly engineered memristors integrating Ag nanoparticle–embedded synthetic DNA with quasi‐2D halide perovskites enable ultra‐low‐operational voltage, forming‐free resistive switching, and record‐low power density. This synergistic integration of customized DNA and 2D OHP in bio‐hybrid architecture enhances charge transport, reduces variability ...

Electrochromic polymer stability under overpotential is improved by inserting an ultrathin, transparent n‐doped poly(benzodifurandione) interlayer between indium tin oxide and a poly(3,4‐propylenedioxythiophene)‐based electrochromic polymer. The interlayer supports rapid switching at operating bias, then becomes resistive near +0.8 V to suppress excess

Computer classification of fingerprints
In this paper the basic principles of automatic fingerprint classification and recognition systems are described. The systems for fingerprint classification are analyzed in more details, since they are necessary in the construction of large fingerprint databases. Some open problems in fingerprint classification are described and some possible solutions

With a charge‐ion coupling engineering strategy, a K+/vacancy disordered K0.5Mn0.8Co0.1Ti0.1O2 material has been designed. The targeted transition metal doping disrupts charge ordering and inducing K+/vacancy disordering, thereby enabling rapid K+ diffusion through interconnected channels and a stable solid‐solution reaction mechanism.

A reactive in situ solution complexation strategy reconstructs the surface of 2.0 eV ultra‐wide‐bandgap perovskites via proton transfer. This chemical modulation eliminates metallic defects and induces a degenerate‐like n‐type surface, establishing an Ohmic tunneling contact.
