Finite Difference Time Domain (Fdtd) Analysis of an Artificially-Synthesized Absorbing Medium
Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2001In this paper, we investigate an artificially-synthesized absorbing medium by using the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) technique. The artificial medium is composed of a doubly-periodic array of lossy electric and magnetic material blocks (i.e., μ and e media arranged in a checkerboard configuration).

Appendix C. The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method
2018The simulations used in this work were all done using the finite-difference timedomain (FDTD) method. One of a fairly large number of methods and variations on methods applicable to the simulation of electromagnetic fields, the FDTD is particularly simple and intuitive, and its application is well adapted to computation of high-frequency ...

Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Analysis of Microwave Circuits—A Review with Examples
IETE Journal of Research, 1999Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) technique is used extensively in the analysis and design of microwave problems. This technique is reviewed here in a tutorial fashion. The various aspects of FDTD dealt with are: stability criteria, numerical dispersion, various types of absorbing boundary conditions, excitation schemes and source modeling. A number

Conformal finite difference time-domain (FDTD) for modeling frequency selective surface
2013 Cross Strait Quad-Regional Radio Science and Wireless Technology Conference, 2013Conformal finite-difference time-domain (CFDTD) is used for solving frequency selective surface in this paper. This approach is easy to implement and is numerically stable. Some models are simulated to demonstrate the accuracy and fast computation time of CFDTD.

Two-pass finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) calculations on a fighter aircraft
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1996This article combines the equivalence principle with multiple-pass finite-difference time-domain (FDFD) techniques to compute fields behind a cavity-backed aperture. On the first pass, the electromagnetic response of the target is externally determined with the aperture foiled over. The current flowing on the foil is recorded and used to illuminate the
