Finite-Time Stability for Network Systems With Nonlinear Protocols Over Signed Digraphs

IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, 2020
The finite-time stability (FTS) is crucial for the network systems with high requirements on the convergence rate. When the finite-time settling time is globally bounded, the fixed-time stability (FxTS) is introduced.

Finite-time stability and stabilization of LPV systems

2016 35th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2016
This paper deals with the finite-time stability analysis and design problems for Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) systems. First, we extend the concept of the finite-time stability to LPV systems. Then, sufficient conditions for finite-time stability are presented by using Lyapunov-like functions.

Finite‐time stability analysis of a class of discrete‐time switched nonlinear systems with partial finite‐time unstable modes

Asian journal of control, 2020
Plenty of research achievements on finite‐time stability of discrete‐time switched systems have been reported; however, there are a few results referred to finite‐time unstable subsystems. The design of the average dwell time was not considered alone for

Finite-time stabilization of uncertain MIMO systems

53rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2007
Any uncertain smooth multi-input multi-output dynamic system of a full relative degree can be locally finitetime stabilized at its equilibrium point by means of a standard continuous feedback, provided an approximation of the partial-derivatives' matrix of highest order total output derivatives with respect to controls is available. Homogeneous sliding-

Event-triggered finite-time bounded and finite-time stability for Networked Control Systems under DoS attacks

International Journal of Systems Science, 2020
In this paper, finite-time bounded and finite-time stability are studied for Networked Control Systems (NCSs) under Denial-of-Service (DoS) jamming attacks and event-triggered scheme with and without disturbance, respectively, in which the DoS attacks ...

Finite time stability of nonlinear systems

42nd IEEE International Conference on Decision and Control (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37475), 2004
Finite time stability is defined for non autonomous non linear systems. Starting with the proof of an old result from Haimo which gives necessary and sufficient condition for autonomous scalar systems, then we extend this result to n-dimensional systems through the use of Liapunov functions and (here the obtained results are less restrictives).

Further results concerning finite-time stability

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1969
Weiss and Infante [1], [2] developed sufficient conditions for finite-time stability of a vector differential equation. It is shown here that some of their theorems actually imply the stronger property of uniform finite-time stability. A theorem is presented which gives sufficient conditions for stability but not necessarily uniform stability.

Finite-time stability of delayed systems

IMA Journal of Mathematical Control and Information, 2000
Investigating system stability from a non-Lyapunov point of view, the authors extend some fundamental results from the area of finite-time and practical stability to linear continuous time-invariant delayed systems. For a particular class of autonomous delayed systems, sufficient conditions for this kind of stability are derived.
