Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Finite-Time Stability Analysis of a Discrete-Time Generalized Reaction–Diffusion System
This paper delves into a comprehensive analysis of a generalized impulsive discrete reaction–diffusion system under periodic boundary conditions. It investigates the behavior of reactant concentrations through a model governed by partial differential ...

Finite-Time Stability of a Time-Delay Fractional-Order Hydraulic Turbine Regulating System
Finite-time terminal sliding mode control of a time-delay fractional-order hydraulic turbine regulating system (HTRS) is studied. First, an improved Adams-Bashforth-Moulton algorithm is introduced to solve the fractional-order nonlinear system with a ...

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

The analysis of general two-dimensional PEC structures using a modified CPFDTD algorithm [PDF]
The use of the contour path finite difference time domain (CPFDTD) method with locally distorted contours has been shown to give accurate results for curved metal structures.

Finite-Time Stability of Large-Scale Systems with Interval Time-Varying Delay in Interconnection
We investigate finite-time stability of a class of nonlinear large-scale systems with interval time-varying delays in interconnection. Time-delay functions are continuous but not necessarily differentiable.

Finite-time output stabilization of the double integrator [PDF]
The problem of finite-time output stabilization of the double integrator is addressed applying the homogeneity approach. A homogeneous controller and a homogeneous observer are designed (for different degree of homogeneity) ensuring the finite-time stabilization.

Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.
