Quantum Photothermal Self‐Monitoring Fiber Probes for In Vivo Photothermal Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A miniaturized quantum photothermal fiber probe based on a metal/polymer/glass composite optoelectronic fiber that simultaneously guides lightwave and microwave was developed for the first time. The probe achieves enhanced photothermal conversion (13°C/mW, 25°C–120°C range) while providing real‐time self‐monitoring with 0.2°C thermal resolution at the ...

Multi‐Axis Stretchable Zippers for Personalized Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multi‐axis stretchable zippers can adapt to complex wound morphologies and enable personalized wound treatment through programmable contraction. This morphological matching strategy helps accelerate wound closure, improve blood perfusion, promote epithelial regeneration, and enhance collagen remodeling, pioneering new directions for personalized and ...

Topology‐Aware Deep Learning on Higher‐Order Structures for Drug Response Prediction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present TopDr, a topology‐aware deep learning framework that encodes both drugs and cell lines as multiscale simplicial complexes, capturing interactions at the 0‐, 1‐, and 2‐simplex levels. By jointly integrating local higher‐order neighborhoods and global topological structures, TopDr generates enriched representations for sensitivity prediction ...

Finite automata and non-self-embedding grammars

open access: yes, 2003
We consider non-self-embedding (NSE) context-free grammars as a representation of regular sets. We point out its advantages with respect to more classical representations by finite automata, in particular when considering the efficient realization of the

Long‐Term Ambient Benzene Exposure and Brain Disorders Among Urban Adults: Effect Modification by Genetic Susceptibility and Potential Mediation by Plasma Proteins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Low‐level ambient benzene exposure is associated with increased risks of multiple brain disorders in urban adults. Genetic susceptibility modifies these associations, while plasma proteomics points to potential biological pathways linking benzene exposure to adverse brain health.

Identification of cellular automata: theoretical remarks [PDF]

open access: yes
Land use evolution during forty years in a large set of European cities is analysed by means of a cellular automaton. In one hand (the operational level), the use of this modelling tool allows: a: to study the transition rules in land use and the ...

Sub‐Terahertz Memristor Switches Using MoS2 by Liquid–Liquid Interface Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces application‐ready sub‐terahertz memristor switches fabricated from electrochemically exfoliated MoS2 nanosheets assembled at a liquid–liquid interface. The devices exhibit robust unipolar resistive switching, low insertion loss, and high isolation across 10–110 GHz.
