Linear complementary pair of group codes over finite chain rings [PDF]

open access: yesDesigns, Codes and Cryptography, 2020
Linear complementary dual (LCD) codes and linear complementary pair (LCP) of codes over finite fields have been intensively studied recently due to their applications in cryptography, in the context of side-channel and fault injection attacks. The security parameter for an LCP of codes $(C,D)$ is defined as the minimum of the minimum distances $d(C ...

Copper‐based Materials for Photo and Electrocatalytic Process: Advancing Renewable Energy and Environmental Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cu‐based catalysts as a cornerstone in advancing sustainable energy technologies are fully reviewed in this manuscript, highlighting their potential in photo‐ and electrocatalysis. It includes metallic copper, copper oxides, copper sulfides, copper halide perovskites, copper‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and covalent organic frameworks (COFs),

On Symbol-Triple Distance of a Class of Constacyclic Codes of Length 3ps Over Fpm + uFpm

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Let $p\not =3$ be any prime. In this paper, we completely determine symbol-triple distance of all $\gamma $ -constacyclic codes of length $3p^{s}$ over the finite commutative chain ring ${\mathcal{ R}}=\mathbb F_{p^{m}}+u\mathbb F_{p^{m}}$ , where

MacWilliams' Extension Theorem for Bi-Invariant Weights over Finite Principal Ideal Rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A finite ring R and a weight w on R satisfy the Extension Property if every R-linear w-isometry between two R-linear codes in R^n extends to a monomial transformation of R^n that preserves w.

Survival of classical and quantum particles in the presence of traps

open access: yes, 2013
We present a detailed comparison of the motion of a classical and of a quantum particle in the presence of trapping sites, within the framework of continuous-time classical and quantum random walk.

Light‐Controlled Reversible Coassembly of Hybrid Functional Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐responsive hybrid nanostructures are formed by coassembling azobenzene‐ and PAH‐functionalized nanoparticles through reversible an tunable π interactions. The system enables tunable coupling between distinct components such as gold and magnetite or carbon nanotubes, producing switchable optical and magnetic properties under light and magnetic ...

On Symbol-Pair Distance of a Class of Constacyclic Codes of Length 3ps over Fpm+uFpm

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
Let p≠3 be any prime. In this paper, we compute symbol-pair distance of all γ-constacyclic codes of length 3ps over the finite commutative chain ring R=Fpm+uFpm, where γ is a unit of R which is not a cube in Fpm.

Classifying Rational G-Spectra for Finite G

open access: yes, 2008
We give a new proof that for a finite group G, the category of rational G-equivariant spectra is Quillen equivalent to the product of the model categories of chain complexes of modules over the rational group ring of the Weyl group of H in G, as H runs ...

Quantum codes from linear codes over finite chain rings [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum Information Processing, 2017
In this paper, we provide two methods of constructing quantum codes from linear codes over finite chain rings. The first one is derived from the Calderbank-Shor-Steane (CSS) construction applied to self-dual codes over finite chain rings. The second construction is derived from the CSS construction applied to Gray images of the linear codes over finite

Miniature Nanomesh Mechano‐Acoustic Sensor with Wide Linear Dynamic Range, Broad Bandwidth, and Flat Frequency Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A miniaturized mechano‐acoustic sensor is developed using an electrospun PVDF nanomesh as the diaphragm in a capacitive sensor structure. Unlike conventional nanomesh‐based sensors, it achieves high linear sensitivity, a broad and flat frequency response, and a compact form factor.
