A water‐cooling nano multilayer Kirkpatrick–Baez mirrors system has been implemented at ID23 HEPS. A New Model of Feeding Biomechanics Based on Tied‐Arch Principles

Integrative Zoology, EarlyView.
This new biomechanical model explains the major stress and strain patterns generated through the cranium during biting. The model proposes that the cranium resolves bite‐induced reaction forces through arcs of compressive stress that span the cranial structure between biting teeth and both jaw joints.

Reduced order modelling of air‐puff test for corneal material characterisation

Abstract Models of the fluid–structure interaction (FSI) model for the air‐puff test were analysed. Using Abaqus, the air‐puff test is applied to eyes with varying biomechanical parameters, such as material properties, corneal thickness, and radius.
