Finite groups with many normalizers

open access: yes
summary:A group $G$ is said to have dense normalizers if every nonempty open interval in its subgroup lattice $L(G)$ contains the normalizer of a certain subgroup of $G$. We find all finite groups satisfying this property.

On the symmetric generation of finite groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this thesis we discuss some uses and applications of the techniques in Symmetric generation. In Chapter 1 we introduce the notions of symmetric generation.

3D‐Printed Piezoionic/Bioelectronic Hydrogel for Electro‐Metabolic Regulation of Osteogenic Differentiation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed piezoionic GPMx hydrogel enables stable electromechanical signal generation under mechanical loading, exhibiting long‐term durability and low fatigue. As a bioactive patch, it restores endogenous bioelectricity to stimulate osteogenesis via Ca2+ influx and mitochondrial activation, while simultaneously enabling label‐free alkaline ...

Graph products of groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
In the 1970's Baudisch introduced the idea of the semifree group, that is, a group in which the only relators are commutators of generators. Baudisch was mainly concerned with subgroup problems, employing length arguments on the elements of these groups.

Standardized Effect Measures Informing Next‐Generation Strategies for Mechanical Stimulation in Cartilage Tissue Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This systematic review quantitatively compares conventional mechanical stimulation strategies in cartilage tissue engineering across 85 heterogeneous in vitro studies. Applying standardized effect measures, meta‐analysis reveals that combined compression and shear loading optimally promotes cartilage matrix development.

The Chebotarev invariant of a direct product of non-abelian finite simple groups [PDF]

open access: yes
openL'obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di derivare limiti superiori per il valore atteso del numero di elementi random necessari per generare e per generare invariabilmente un prodotto diretto di gruppi semplici, finiti e non abeliani.

Immunoinflammatory Mechanisms and Biocompatibility of Bioactive Dental Biomaterials: From Fundamental Insights to Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.

Green index and finiteness conditions for semigroups

open access: yes, 2008
Let S be a semigroup and let T be a subsemigroup of S. Then T acts on S by left and by right multiplication. If the complement S \ T has finitely many strong orbits by both these actions we say that T has finite Green index in S.
