On approximation properties of semidirect products of groups [PDF]
Let R be a class of groups closed under taking semidirect products with finite kernel and fully residually R-groups. We prove that R contains all R-by-{finitely generated residually finite} groups.

Infinite symmetric products of rational algebras and spaces
We show that the infinite symmetric product of a connected graded-commutative algebra over $\mathbb{Q}$ is naturally isomorphic to the free graded-commutative algebra on the positive degree subspace of the original algebra.

On the approximation of class C(0) components of physical quantities in curved coordinate systems [PDF]
In numerical methods for calculating the strength of technospheric objects approximating expressions of the desired values in terms of their nodal values are widely used.

Finite supersolvable wreath products [PDF]
2. Notation and definitions. All groups considered are finite and are written multiplicatively. E denotes the trivial group and 1 is used for the identity of all groups. Other notation is standard (as found, for example, in [8]). Let A and B be nontrivial abstract groups, and let F=AB be the direct sum of copies of A indexed by the set B. Explicitly, F

Summary: In this paper we describe a deductive system for categories with finite products and coproducts, prove decidability of equality of morphisms via cut elimination, and prove a ``Whitman theorem'' for the free such categories over arbitrary base categories.

Sums of finite products of Genocchi functions
In a previous work, it was shown that Faber-Pandharipande-Zagier and Miki’s identities can be derived from a polynomial identity which in turn follows from a Fourier series expansion of sums of products of Bernoulli functions.

Subcartesian Products of Finitely many Finite Algebras [PDF]
We show that if the lattice of subquasivarieties of a quasivariety of Ω \Omega -algebras has a finite maximal chain then every algebra of the quasivariety is a subcartesian product of a family of certain finitely many finite algebras.

Unbiased Estimates for Products of Moments and Cumulants for Finite Populations
Let FN be the distribution function of a finite real population of size N. Let Fn be the empirical distribution function of a sample of size n drawn from the population without replacement.

Reaching the minimum ideal in a finite semigroup [PDF]
We introduce the depth parameters of a finite semigroup, which measure how hard it is to produce an element in the minimum ideal when we consider generating sets satisfying some minimality conditions.

Sums of finite products of Bernoulli functions
In this paper, we consider three types of functions given by sums of finite products of Bernoulli functions and derive their Fourier series expansions. In addition, we express each of them in terms of Bernoulli functions.
