On weakly transitive torsion-free Abelian groups
Quasi-homogeneous weakly transitive rank 2 torsion-free groups are described, and any finite rank torsion-free group with strongly indecomposable pure subgroups is shown to be weakly ...

Dualities for torsion-free abelian groups of finite rank
All groups considered here are torsion-free abelian groups of finite rank. Let F be a full free subgroup of such a group G. The finite outer type of G, FOT(G), is \((...,\pi_ p,...)\), where \(p^{\pi_ p}\) is the order of a maximal cyclic summand in the p-component of the reduced part of G/F.

Cohomology of solvable saturable pro‐p$p$ groups and Lie algebras
Abstract Let p$p$ be an odd prime and let n∈N$n\in \mathbb {N}$ be an integer. We show that the n-th$n{\text{-th}}$ mod‐p$p$ cohomology of a solvable saturable pro‐p$p$ group is isomorphic to the n-th$n{\text{-th}}$ mod‐p$p$ cohomology of its associated Zp$\mathbb {Z}_p$‐Lie algebra g$\mathfrak {g}$ as an Fp$\mathbb {F}_p$‐vector space.

Nearly isomorphic torsion free abelian groups
Let K be the Krull-Schmidt-Grothendieck group for the category of finite rank torsion free abelian groups. The torsion subgroup T of K is determined and it is proved that KT is free.

The singularity category and duality for complete intersection groups
Abstract If G$G$ is a finite group, the structure of the modular representation theory depends on the cochains C∗(BG;k)$C^*(BG; k)$, viewed as a commutative ring spectrum. We consider here its singularity category (in the sense of the author and Stevenson [Adv. Math.

BREAKING UP FINITE AUTOMATA PRESENTABLE TORSION-FREE ABELIAN GROUPS
In [Todor Tsankov, The additive group of the rationals does not have an automatic presentation, May 2009, arXiv:0905.1505v1], it was shown that the group of rational numbers is not FA-presentable, i.e.

Cohomogeneity‐one solitons in Laplacian flow: Local, smoothly‐closing and steady solitons
Abstract We initiate a systematic study of cohomogeneity‐one solitons in Bryant's Laplacian flow of closed G2$\text{G}_2$‐structures on a 7‐manifold, motivated by the problem of understanding finite‐time singularities of that flow. Here, we focus on solitons with symmetry groups Sp(2)${\rm Sp}(2)$ and SU(3)${\rm SU}(3)$; in both cases, we prove the ...

The cotypeset of a torsion-free Abelian group of finite rank
For a discussion of types and for basic definitions and notations see [ 7 1. In 1961 Beaumont and Pierce [4] posed the problem of finding necessary and sufficient conditions for a (necessarily finite or countable) set T of types to be realized as T = typeset G for some G of rank two.

Rickard's derived Morita theory: Review and outlook
Abstract We survey the main results in Jeremy Rickard's seminal papers ‘Morita theory for derived categories’ and ‘Derived equivalences and derived functors’. These papers catalysed the later development of the Morita theory of (enhanced) compactly generated triangulated categories by Keller in the algebraic setting and by Schwede and Shipley in the ...

Endomorphism rings and direct sums of torsion free abelian groups
Properties of abelian groups related to a given finite rank torsion free abelian group A are analyzed in terms of End (A), the endomorphism ring of A. This point of view gives rise to generalizations of some classical theorems by R.
