A vlsi architecture for finite ridgelet transform
2003 46th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2006This paper presents a VLSI architecture for the finite ridgelet transform (FRIT). The proposed architecture has been partitioned into two stages. First stage computes the finite Radon transform (FRAT) coefficients and the second stage computes 1-D discrete wavelet transform (DWT) coefficients.

Robust Watermarking Scheme in Finite Ridgelet Transform Domain
2008 IEEE Pacific-Asia Workshop on Computational Intelligence and Industrial Application, 2008How to select the finite ridgelet transform (FRIT) coefficients which were suitable to embed watermark data was an interesting problem. Digital watermarking algorithms in FRIT domain were accomplished by modulating the transform coefficients, which represented the most energetic direction of an image.

Digital image forensics with finite ridgelet transform
2009 IEEE 17th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference, 2009With the use of advanced computer graphics rendering software, very successful photorealistic images can be generated. Therefore, it may be hard to discriminate the photographic images from the photorealistic ones. In this work, we propose to use the statistics obtained from the ridgelet transform to distinguish the photographic and photorealistic ...

Efficient systolic architecture and power modeling for finite ridgelet transform
2009 IEEE 12th International Conference on Computer Vision Workshops, ICCV Workshops, 2009In this paper, an efficient architecture for the finite ridgelet transform (FRIT) suitable for embedded computer vision systems based on a parallel, systolic finite radon transform (FRAT) sub-block and Haar wavelet transform (HWT) block is presented. Field programmable gate array (FPGA) implementation is carried out to characterise the performance of ...

Finite Ridgelet Transform Based Listless Block-Partitioning Image Coding Algorithm
2013 International Conference on Cyber-Enabled Distributed Computing and Knowledge Discovery, 2013In this paper, an image coding algorithm based on a rate-distortion optimized orthonormal finite ridge let transform (OFRIT) decomposition and on an improved listless block-partitioning coding scheme which quantizes each sub band separately is proposed.

An image coding method of shape adaptive orthonormal finite ridgelet transform
2014 7th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, 2014We propose a shape-adaptive wavelet-based finite ridgelet coding method, which can efficiently code an arbitrarily shaped video object. Mechanism of SA-FRIT on the shape adaptive ridgelet transform are discussed, based on the mask images on video object shape adaptive ridgelet three level decomposition.

Blind separation of noisy images using finite Ridgelet Transform and wavelet de-noising
2013 Second International Japan-Egypt Conference on Electronics, Communications and Computers (JEC-ECC), 2013This paper deals with the problem of blind separation of digital images from noisy mixtures. It proposes the application of a blind separation algorithm on Ridgelet Transform (RT) of the mixed images, instead of performing the separation on the mixtures in the time domain. Soft Wavelet thresholding denoising of the noisy mixtures is recommended in this

A novel algorithm of image fusion using finite ridgelet transform
SPIE Proceedings, 2006In this paper, a novel image fusion method based on the finite ridgelet transform(FRIT). Firstly, the problem that wavelet transform could not efficiently represent the singularity of linear/curve in image processing is analyzed. Secondly, the principal of FRIT and its good performance in expressing the singularity of two or higher dimensional are ...

A new digital image watermarking based on Finite Ridgelet Transform and extraction using ICA
2011 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Electrical and Computer Technology, 2011This paper presents a new digital image watermarking based on Ridgelet Transform (RT) and extraction using Independent Component Analysis (ICA). Ridgelet transform is a new directional multi-resolution transform and is more suitable for describing the signals with high dimensional singularities. Finite Ridgelet Transform (FRIT) is a discrete version of
