A Multiresolution Image Completion Algorithm for Compressing Digital Color Images
This paper introduces a new framework for image coding that uses image inpainting method. In the proposed algorithm, the input image is subjected to image analysis to remove some of the portions purposefully. At the same time, edges are extracted from the input image and they are passed to the decoder in the compressed manner.

A Note on Fractional Gabor Systems in L2(ℝ)
In this article, fractional Gabor frames in L2(ℝ) are defined and studied. Also, a finite linear combination of fractional Gabor frames for L2(ℝ) is discussed. It is proved that under certain conditions, a finite linear combination of fractional Gabor frames is a fractional Gabor frame for L2(ℝ).
