On finiteness of rings with finite maximal subrings
It is conjectured that every ring with a finite maximal subring is finite. We prove this conjecture for PI-rings.

Finitely Embedded Commutative Rings [PDF]
A theorem of Ginn and Moss [G-M] states that a right finitely embedded (= with finite essential right socle) two-sided Noetherian ring is Artinian. An example of Schelter and Small [S-S] can be applied to show that the theorem fails for right finitely embedded rings with the ascending chain conditions on right and left annihilators.

Investigating the Low‐Temperature Phase Stability of the Binary Ta–W System
Atomistic simulations show that the binary Ta–W system forms ordered intermetallic phases, B2‐TaW and D03‐TaW3, as 0 K ground states. Configurational entropy, however, lowers the free energy of the disordered bcc solid solution, which becomes the stable phase above about 400 K.

Waring's problem in finite rings
In this paper we obtain sharp results for Waring's problem over general finite rings, by using a combination of Artin-Wedderburn theory and Hensel's lemma and building on new proofs of analogous results over finite fields that are achieved using spectral graph theory. We also prove an analogue of Sárközy's theorem for finite fields.

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

ABSTRACT Chitosan, a polysaccharide upcycled from biowaste, has long promised sustainable, biocompatible, and antimicrobial films and devices, an appeal reinforced by its recent regulatory recognition, with several chitosan‐based antibacterial dressings gaining clearance through the Food and Drug Administration's 510(k) pathway.
