Finite-time stabilization of uncertain MIMO systems

53rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2007
Any uncertain smooth multi-input multi-output dynamic system of a full relative degree can be locally finitetime stabilized at its equilibrium point by means of a standard continuous feedback, provided an approximation of the partial-derivatives' matrix of highest order total output derivatives with respect to controls is available. Homogeneous sliding-

Finite-time stability of cascaded time-varying systems

International Journal of Control, 2007
The uniform global finite-time stability is discussed for a cascaded time-varying system consisting of two uniformly finite-time stable subsystems. It is shown that a forward completeness condition is enough to ensure the uniform global finite-time stability of the system.

Time‐varying feedback for stabilization in prescribed finite time

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2018
SummaryThis paper provides a time‐varying feedback alternative to control of finite‐time systems, which is referred to as “prescribed‐time control,” exhibiting several superior features: (i) such time‐varying gain–based prescribed‐time control is built upon regular state feedback rather than fractional‐power state feedback, thus resulting in smooth (Cm)

Finite-time stability and stabilization of LPV systems

2016 35th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2016
This paper deals with the finite-time stability analysis and design problems for Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) systems. First, we extend the concept of the finite-time stability to LPV systems. Then, sufficient conditions for finite-time stability are presented by using Lyapunov-like functions.

On finite-time stability and stabilization of positive systems with impulses

Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems, 2019
This study investigates finite-time stability and stabilization problems for positive systems with impulses. By constructing a time-varying copositive Lyapunov function and utilizing the average impulsive interval approach, the finite-time stability ...

Adaptive fuzzy finite-time stability of uncertain nonlinear systems based on prescribed performance

Fuzzy Sets Syst., 2019
The semi-globally practical finite-time stability (SGPFS) problem for a class of uncertain strict-feedback nonlinear systems is discussed in this paper.

Input–output finite-time stabilization of linear systems with finite-time boundedness

ISA Transactions, 2014
The paper presents linear system Input-Output Finite-Time Stabilization (IO-FTS) method under Finite-Time Boundedness (FTB) constraint. A state feedback controller is designed, via Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs), to guarantee the system both IO-FTS and FTB.
