Graded Rings with Finiteness Conditions
Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2023The authors extend to the graded case some classical results from ring theory. They provide information about the graded classical right quotient ring of a graded semiprime graded Goldie ring, and discuss when this quotient ring is graded Artinian, provided that the grading group is periodic.

FINITENESS CONDITIONS FOR REWRITING SYSTEMS
International Journal of Algebra and Computation, 2005Monoids that can be presented by a finite complete rewriting system have both finite derivation type and finite homological type. This paper introduces a higher dimensional analogue of each of these invariants, and relates them to homological finiteness conditions.

Finiteness Conditions for Near-Rings
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1992AbstractThere have been a number of papers which give necessary conditions for a ring to be finite, and a few, most notably H. E. Bell [1], which do the same for near-rings. We wish to make a contribution to this latter theme. Most of Bell's results concern distributive near-rings.

Generalized finiteness conditions
Communications in Algebra, 1994For a module M for various quotient modules M/N of M, cardinality restrictions are placed on the number of generators of submodules of M/N, and on the (infinite) Goldie dimensions of M/N. The conditions FGS and TC of R. Kurshan are formulated and generalized for arbitrary cardinals.

Arbib and Zeiger [9] in giving a unified (but “pre-categorical”) view of linear systems and sequential machines, observed that the subspaces $${\text{S}}_{\text{1}} \subset {\text{S}}_{\text{2}} \subset {\text{S}}_{\text{3}} \subset ...$$ with Sj being the set of states reachable in at most k steps from the initial state had the property that if

SOME SUPERSOLVABILITY CONDITIONS FOR FINITE GROUPS
Mathematical Proceedings of the Royal Irish Academy, 2006The influence of numerical bounds for certain invariants of a group on its subgroup structure has been investigated by generations of group-theorists. Likewise, CLT groups, i.e. groups satisfying the converse of the Lagrange Theorem, have been subjected to longstanding enquiry.

Groups with Finiteness Conditions on Commutators
Algebra Colloquium, 2012The structure of groups for which certain sets of commutator subgroups are finite is investigated. In particular, the relation between such groups and groups with finite conjugacy classes of elements is discussed.

Forcing with Finite Conditions
2006We present a generalisation to ω 2 of Baumgartner’s forcing for adding a CUB subset of ω 1 with finite conditions.
