Collective value? Finland‐Swedish literature in the Nordic literary prize culture

Abstract Unlike many other minority literatures, Finland‐Swedish literature is very well embodied in the literary prize culture. Statistically, Finland‐Swedish authors are overrepresented among the nominees and recipients of the largest and most prestigious awards in Sweden and Finland, as well as the major joint Nordic literary prizes.

Abstract In Europe, and specifically in countries bordering the Baltic Sea, preparedness issues have moved up the policy agenda since Russia's 2014 and 2022 invasions of Ukraine. “Ordinary people” are encouraged to prepare for crises—be it through stockpiling food at home, fact‐checking information, or signing up for military training.

Magnetoionics for Synaptic Devices and Neuromorphic Computing: Recent Advances, Challenges, and Future Perspectives

The utilization of magnetoionics in neuromorphic applications is revised. Two ways to modulate synaptic weights are presented as “case studies”: 1) tuning of magnetization by voltage‐induced ion motion and 2) control of magnetic stripe domains and skyrmions in gated magnetic films grown adjacent to solid‐state ionic supercapacitors.
