Softening of Vibrational Modes and Anharmonicity Induced Thermal Conductivity Reduction in a‐Si:H at High Temperatures

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study developed a neuroevolution machine learning potential of both a‐Si:H and a‐Si systems, and revealed that the softening of vibrational modes and enhanced anharmonicity contribute to the reduction in thermal conductivity with increasing temperature and hydrogen concentration.

How tailored climate information affects attitudes towards climate policy and psychological distance of climate change

open access: yesnpj Climate Action
How does personally tailored climate impact information affect attitudes towards climate policy paths? We developed an online tool to depict the outcomes of downscaled climate models and a personalised vulnerability estimate.

Thermally Conductive Buried Aluminum Nitride for Next Generation Silicon‐on‐Insulator

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Aluminum nitride (AlN) is proposed as buried insulating layer for next‐generation silicon‐on‐insulator (SOI) substrates. This work explores sputtering, atomic layer deposition (ALD), and metalorganic vapour phase epitaxy (MOVPE) AlN film to realize an AlN‐SOI platform.

13C‐Labeled Mesoporous N‐Doped Carbon Nanospheres and N‐Doped Hydrothermal Carbon Aerogels as Model Materials for Carbon Corrosion Determination in Electrode Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
By 13C labeling of carbon support materials used in energy storage and conversion applications, carbon corrosion can be investigated in situ via EC‐MS, giving information about the corrosion rate and whether the carbon support or other carbon‐containing materials in the system are degraded.
