Analysis of fipronil and metabolites of fipronil in eggs by LC-MS/MS
A simple, sensitive and reliable method was developed and applied to determine fipronil and its metabolites in chicken egg by means of liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Chicken egg samples were extracted with water and acetonitrile, added with DisQuE salt, shaken and then centrifuged.

Environmental fate and exposure; neonicotinoids and fipronil [PDF]
Systemic insecticides are applied to plants using a wide variety of methods, ranging from foliar sprays to seed treatments and soil drenches. Neonicotinoids and fipronil are among the most widely used pesticides in the world. Their popularity is largely due to their high toxicity to invertebrates, the ease and flexibility with which they can be applied,

ABSTRACT This study assessed the ecotoxicological effects of treated sewage on the freshwater planarian Girardia tigrina, integrating biochemical, energetic, and behavioral biomarkers. Planarians were exposed for 48 h to different concentrations of treated sewage (12.5%, 25%, 50%, and 100%) and compared to controls using commercial water and water from
