Lethality of Imidacloprid and Fipronil on Apis mellifera: a retrospective on the French case
The aim of this study is to draw a retrospective analysis on the lethality of imidacloprid (Gaucho®) and fipronil (Régent® TS) on Apis mellifera between 1992 and 2016 in France. Early monitoring reports in the 1992-2002 period notified these two embedded

Systemic insecticides (neonicotinoids and fipronil): trends, uses, mode of action and metabolites
Since their discovery in the late 1980s, neonicotinoid pesticides have become the most widely used class of insecticides worldwide, with large-scale applications ranging from plant protection (crops, vegetables, fruits), veterinary products, and biocides

Protein baits containing fipronil as a biocide have shown their effectivity as a control method for Vespa velutina nigrithorax (Lepeletier, 1836) in apiaries. This biocide is not selective for Vespa velutina, so it is important to use the minimum dose to

Analysis of fipronil and metabolites of fipronil in eggs by LC-MS/MS
A simple, sensitive and reliable method was developed and applied to determine fipronil and its metabolites in chicken egg by means of liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Chicken egg samples were extracted with water and acetonitrile, added with DisQuE salt, shaken and then centrifuged.

Sustainable dairy farming and fipronil risk in circular feeds: insights from an Italian case study
Circular feeds, such as grain dry distillers, citrus pulp, cane molasses, and potatoes peels, are co-products of biomass processes. They are currently proposed in animal nutrition to improve the environmental and economic sustainability of the food ...

Susceptibility of field populations of Haematobia irritans to fipronil in Uruguay [PDF]
: Fipronil was registered in Uruguay in 1997, and, since then, it has been used for the control of Haematobia irritans irritans and Rhipicephalus microplus. The susceptibility of H. irritants to this drug has not been evaluated.
