Isomorphic FIR digital filters
A method is proposed for realising FIR digital filters with a very low computational cost by applying a modular arithmetic. The basis of the method is the choice of the two submoduli 2B and 2B + 1, with 2B + 1 equal to a prime, and the use of the isomorphism between multiplicative groups and additive groups both in the case of the modulus 2B and 2B + 1.
