This work demonstrates a design paradigm of phonon‐driven negative‐thermal‐expansion (NTE) flexible framework that exploits the intrinsic lattice flexibility of NTE frameworks to simultaneously suppress thermal expansion and activate oxide‐ion conduction, offering a promising strategy to mitigate TEC mismatch in solid‐state ionic devices.

Neuromodulation strategies are increasingly needed to stimulate, restore, or replace altered neuronal activity in disease. Cobalt ferrite‐barium titanate (CFO–BTO) magnetoelectric nanoparticles convert low‐intensity static magnetic fields into local electrical modulation of cortical networks.

Astrocyte‐specific SHP1 deletion disrupts astrocyte–vascular interactions and compromises BBB integrity while enhancing STAT1‐dependent CXCL10 expression. These changes synergistically promote peripheral CD4+ and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration into the SDH. The infiltrating T cells secrete IFN‐γ, which in turn activates microglia.

FES‐derived MGE spheroids exhibit progenitor‐stage alterations in developmental trajectory and hypoxia‐responsive transcriptional programs, followed by functional disruption. Gestational hypoxia recapitulates impaired progenitor proliferation, shortened cell‐cycle progression, interneuron developmental abnormalities, and schizophrenia‐like behaviors in

How wildlife affects fire frequency
The migrating wildebeest and zebra in the region consume about 6,900 tonnes of grass per day. It may be too simple however to see this as only competition for livestock. Increased residency time of wildebeest on village lands may dampen the effects of climate change by removing biomass and reducing fire frequency.
