High Precision Prediction Model of Wind Speed for Underground Mine Tunnel by Using ASTF Net

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This paper proposes an Adaptive Spectral‐Temporal Fusion Net (ASTF‐Net), which features a novel decomposition‐ensemble framework with adaptive feature fusion. This design deliberately balances spectral and temporal features and effectively boosts prediction accuracy in complex ventilation environments. ABSTRACT An Adaptive Spectral‐Temporal Fusion Net (

Ambiguity‐Aware Receding‐Horizon Optimization of Wind‐Hybrid Energy Storage Systems Using Type‐3 Fuzzy Modeling for Multimarket Participation

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
A Type‐3 fuzzy ambiguity encoder converts rolling wind, price, reserve‐activation, and confidence features into central estimates and nested uncertainty bounds. These parameters are updated within a receding‐horizon MILP/MIQP that coordinates wind, battery, and supercapacitor capacity across day‐ahead and ancillary‐service markets.

Stretchable and energy‐efficient neuromorphic devices based on ionic capacitance for robotic tactile recognition

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
Abstract Neuromorphic devices with learning and memory functions are critical for enabling human‐like tactile perception and interactive control in humanoid robots. However, existing neuromorphic platforms often struggle to reconcile mechanical flexibility with energy efficiency due to material and mechanism constraints.

Predicting EU Emissions Allowance Prices Using Macroeconomic Indicators and Hybrid AI Models

open access: yesJournal of Forecasting, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Predicting carbon allowance prices has grown more crucial in relation to carbon market regulation, financial strategy, and environmental policy development. This study examines a hybrid forecasting system that combines deep learning with ensemble machine learning models to forecast the price fluctuations of EU Emissions Allowance (EUAs) within

A Review of Probabilistic and Novel Approaches to Cost Assessment in CCUS Projects

open access: yesGreenhouse Gases: Science and Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although the renewable energy sector is making progress, there is still a long way to go before green energy can be fully utilized. In this context, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies can act as a temporary bridge between a high‐emission past and a low‐emission future.

Modeling the impacts of grazing management on livestock behavior and performance: A case study in the Peruvian Andes

open access: yesGrassland Research, EarlyView.
Our modeling study shows that livestock management strongly influences grazing behavior and animal performance in the Peruvian Andes. Furthermore, adjusting stocking rates and improving animal distribution can enhance forage intake and body condition while increasing forage biomass.

Labor Market Institutions, Fiscal Multipliers, and Macroeconomic Volatility

open access: yesJournal of Applied Econometrics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT How do labor market institutions shape the transmission of government spending shocks and macroeconomic volatility? We develop a theoretical model in which labor market institutions affect fiscal transmission through their effect on wage rigidity, job separation, and matching frictions.
