The Enigmatic Radio Afterglow of GRB 991216
We present wide-band radio observations spanning from 1.4 GHz to 350 GHz of the afterglow of GRB 991216, taken from 1 to 80 days after the burst. The optical and X-ray afterglow of this burst were fairly typical and are explained by a jet fireball.

Hydrodynamics of relativistic fireballs [PDF]
We examine analytically and numerically the evolution of a relativistic fireball. We show that, after an early rearrangement phase, most of the matter and energy in the fireball is concentrated within a narrow shell. The shell propagates at nearly the speed of light, with a frozen radial profile and according to a simple set of scaling laws.

ABSTRACT Regulated rivers represent complex hydrological systems where groundwater–surface water interactions are governed by natural conditions and human interventions. This study investigates the spatiotemporal dynamics of groundwater–surface water exchanges in the Nechako River, British Columbia (Canada), using numerical simulations.

In-medium charmonium production in proton-nucleus collisions
We study charmonium production in proton-nucleus (p-A) collisions focusing on final-state effects caused by the formation of an expanding medium. Toward this end we utilize a rate equation approach within a fireball model as previously employed for a ...

Gamma-ray bursts with continuous energy injection and their afterglow signature [PDF]
(Abridged) We discuss a Gamma-ray burst (GRB) fireball with an additional energy injection, either in the form of a Poynting-flux-dominated outflow or a kinetic-energy-dominated matter shell injected after the burst.

Emerging Trends and Challenges in Supply Chain Management and Sustainability
ABSTRACT The global emphasis on sustainability has been reinforced by international strategies, such as the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals proposed in the 2030 Agenda. These strategies have prompted a significant transformation in business management practices, leading to the integration of responsible approaches throughout the supply ...

Digamma diagnostics for the mixed-phase generation at NICA
A novel type of diagnostics for dense and/or hot nuclear matter produced in heavy-ion collisions at NICA and similar future colliders (FAIR, etc.) is suggested.

The Nexus Between Circular Economy and Sustainable Supply Chain Management: PRISMA Methodology
ABSTRACT The intersection of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) and circular economy (CE) has attracted increasing academic and practical attention, emphasizing the need for integrated sustainability approaches. This study employs the PRISMA protocol and conceptualizes the CE–SSCM relationship as a dynamic system in which internal capabilities,

Rapidity-dependent chemical potentials in a statistical approach
We present a single-freeze-out model with thermal and geometric parameters dependent on the position within the fireball and use it to describe the rapidity and transverse-momentum spectra of pions, kaons, protons, and antiprotons measured at RHIC at 200
