A Sturmian Theorem for First Order Partial Differential Equations [PDF]
A pair of first order partial differential equations is considered. The system is transformed into a single nonlinear scalar equation of the Riccati type from which some Wirtinger type integral inequalities for functions of several variables are derived. A comparison theorem for two such pairs of first order equations is then proved using the Wirtinger

Single‐cell insights into the role of T cells in B‐cell malignancies
Single‐cell technologies have transformed our understanding of T cell–tumor cell interactions in B‐cell malignancies, revealing new T‐cell subsets, functional states, and immune evasion mechanisms. This Review synthesizes these findings, highlighting the roles of T cells in pathogenesis, progression, and therapy response, and underscoring their ...

Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

Reduction of static field equation of Faddeev model
A method to solve the static field equation of the Faddeev model is presented. For an special combination of the concerned field, we adopt a form which is compatible with the field equation and involves two arbitrary complex functions.

We first show that the infinitesimal generator of Lie symmetry of a time-fractional partial differential equation (PDE) takes a unified and simple form, and then separate the Lie symmetry condition into two distinct parts, where one is a linear time ...

A comparative study of circulating tumor cell isolation and enumeration technologies in lung cancer
Lung cancer cells were spiked into donor blood to evaluate the recovery rates of the following circulating tumor cell (CTC) enrichment technologies: CellMag™, EasySep™, RosetteSep™, Parsortix® PR1, and Parsortix® Prototype systems. Each method's advantages and disadvantages are described.

We quantified and cultured circulating tumor cells (CTCs) of 62 patients with various cancer types and generated CTC‐derived tumoroid models from two salivary gland cancer patients. Cellular liquid biopsy‐derived information enabled molecular genetic assessment of systemic disease heterogeneity and functional testing for therapy selection in both ...

On an age and spatially structured population model for Proteus Mirabilis swarm-colony development
Proteus mirabilis are bacteria that make strikingly regular spatial-temporal patterns on agar surfaces. In this paper we investigate a mathematical model that has been shown to display these structures when solved numerically.
