Asymptotic Expansion of the First Elliptic Integral
SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 1985Summary: Asymptotic formulas with error bounds are obtained for the first elliptic integral near its logarithmic singularity. It is convenient to start from the more general problem of expanding the integral over the positive t- axis of \([(t+x)(t+y)(t+z)(t+w)]^{-1/2}\).

Stabilization of positive systems with first integrals
Automatica, 2002The paper concerns an affine control system whose drift term defines a positive system with first integrals. Under a suitable hypothesis, the authors construct feedbacks which stabilize a level set of the first integrals. Conditions are provided \(f\) for the same feedback to globally stabilize an equilibrium point.

A first step towards integration independence
2010 IEEE 26th International Conference on Data Engineering Workshops (ICDEW 2010), 2010Two major forms of information integration, federation and materialization, continue to dominate the market, embedded in separate products, each with their strengths and weaknesses. Application developers must make difficult choices among techniques and products, choices that are hard to change later.

Integrative Technology for the Twenty‐First Century
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 2004Abstract: Presented is the concept of Integrative Technology, the intersection of the precision assembly of matter (nanotechnology), coupled with the functional building blocks of nature (biotechnology), and fused by the network flow of spatiotemporal information (informatics). The power of Integrative Technology is illuminated through an illustrative
