First Zagreb index of fuzzy transformation graphs

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2023
The first Zagreb index is equal to the sum of the squares of the degrees at each vertex of G. In this study, we create four distinct types of fuzzy transformation graphs and investigate the fundamental characteristics shared by them. Additionally, upper bounds on the first Zagreb index of fuzzy transformation graphs in terms of fuzzy graph G elements ...

First Zagreb index on a fuzzy graph and its application

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2021
The Zagreb index (ZI) is a very important graph parameter and it is extensively used in molecular chemistry, spectral graph theory, network theory and several fields of mathematics and chemistry. In this article, the first ZI is studied for several fuzzy graphs like path, cycle, star, fuzzy subgraph, etc. and presented an ample number of results. Also,

On the second order first Zagreb index

2017
Summary: Inspired by the chemical applications of higher-order connectivity index (or Randić index), we consider here the higher-order first Zagreb index of a molecular graph. In this paper, we study the linear regression analysis of the second order first Zagreb index with the entropy and acentric factor of an octane isomers.

Some new bounds on the modified first Zagreb index

2021
Summary: Let \(G\) be a graph containing no isolated vertices. For the graph \(G\), its modified first Zagreb index is defined as the sum of reciprocals of squares of vertex degrees of \(G\). This article provides some new bounds on the modified first Zagreb index of \(G\) in terms of some other well-known graph invariants of \(G\).

First Zagreb index and edge-vertex domination in trees

Discrete Mathematics, Algorithms and Applications
Let [Formula: see text] be a simple connected graph. The first Zagreb index denoted by [Formula: see text] is defined as [Formula: see text]. We present a lower bound for [Formula: see text] in terms of order and edge-vertex domination number for trees and characterized the extremal trees attaining the bound.

Laplacian energy and first Zagreb index of Laplacian integral graphs

Analele Universitatii "Ovidius" Constanta - Seria Matematica, 2022
The set Si,n = {0, 1, 2, …, i − 1, i + 1, …, n − 1, n}, 1 ⩽ i ⩽ n, is called Laplacian realizable if there exists a simple connected undirected graph whose Laplacian spectrum is Si,n. The existence of such graphs was established by S. Fallat et all.
