Weaving Intelligence: Thermally Drawn Multimaterial Fibers Toward AI‐Enabled Smart Textiles
Thermally drawn multimaterial fibers are rapidly advancing as intelligent structural units for next‐generation smart textiles. Integrating multimaterial architectures with neuromorphic and spiking‐neural‐network principles enables fabrics that can sense, compute, and adapt autonomously.

FISCAL FEDERALISM AND FISCAL DECENTRALIZATION IN AN ENLARGED EUROPEAN UNION [PDF]
Fiscal competition and tax harmonisation are two of the main current issues in the enlarged European Union. Achieving these goals and thus improving the EU economic governance is partially dependent by the way we understand and practice the so-called ...

A Restatement of the Case for Fiscal Autonomy (or: The Barnett Formula - a formula for Rake's Progress) [PDF]
In this paper, we rebut the case that Ashcroft, Christie and Swales (2006) make in favour of the status quo fiscal settlement in Scotland that stems from the Scotland Act 1998.

Parallel wiring of bioelectrochemical devices with conventional generators unexpectedly boosts output. A biophotovoltaic paired with a solar cell delivers up to 50% more power at low loads than their separate contributions; a plant microbial fuel cell shows similar current gains.

Tax Morale and Fiscal Autonomy: Evidence from Germany [PDF]
Why people pay their taxes voluntarily is a key puzzle in the public finance literature. Some suggest that factors such as the level of tax morale, defined as the intrinsic motivation to pay taxes, affects compliance behaviour.

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.
