COMPUESTOS CARBENICOS y SU IMPLICANCIA EN EL MECANISMO DEL PROCESO FISCHER-TROPSCH

Nickel Nanoparticles Prepared via Colloidal Synthesis as CO2 Hydrogenation Catalysts on Various Support Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 8, 15 April 2026.
Small aromatic ligands are used to synthesize Ni particles between 1 and 4.4 nm. After deposition on various supports, an alkylating agent and subsequent reduction procedure are used to remove the ligands. On SiO2, the Ni particles remained small, but on Al2O3 they sintered severely.

Comets, carbonaceous chondrites, and interstellar clouds: Condensation of carbon [PDF]

open access: yes
Comets, carbonaceous chondrites, and interstellar clouds are discussed in relation to information on interstellar dust. The formation and presence of carbon in stars, comets, and meteorites is investigated.

Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis of Hydrocarbons Using Iron-Mordenite Catalysts [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 1991
Fischer-tropsch catalysts with high activity and selectivity for olefins were produced using mordenite type SiO2/Al2O3= 12, 20, 28, 62 zeolite supported iron carbonyl compounds and were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. The adsorptionof volatile

Considerations on coal gasification [PDF]

open access: yes
Commercial processes for the gasification of coal with oxygen are discussed. The Koppers-Totzek process for the gasification of coal dust entrained in a stream of gasifying agents is described in particular detail.

Carbon deposition in the Bosch process with ruthenium and ruthenium-iron alloy catalysts [PDF]

open access: yes
The effectiveness of ruthenium and the alloys 50Ru50Fe and 33Ru67Fe as alternatives to iron, nickel, and cobalt catalysts in recovering oxygen from metabolic carbon dioxide was investigated.
