Spin‐State Modulation of Atomic Iron Sites Enables Efficient CO2 Electroreduction in Acid Medium

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
An axial oxygen ligand was added to shift the spin state of the single‐atom Fe site from low to medium spin. This change reduces the interfacial interaction with H3O+ and decreases the *CO desorption energy, thus enhancing CO2RR in acidic media.

Design novel inorganic precursors for producing clean fuels by using Fischer-Tropsch synthesis

open access: yesJournal of Saudi Chemical Society, 2019
A new metal-organic framework compound formulated as [Co0.67Zn0.83(btc)(H2O)6] (1) was prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, and FT-IR spectroscopy. The single crystal analysis was used for determination of its structure. The complex was used

Catalytic Activity of Thermolyzed [Co(NH3)6][Fe(CN)6] in CO Hydrogenation Reaction

open access: yesMolecules, 2021
Currently, the processes of obtaining synthetic liquid hydrocarbons and oxygenates are very relevant. Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) is the most important step in these processes. The products of thermal destruction in argon of the mixture [Co(NH3)6][Fe(

Carbon isotopic fractionations during Fischer-Tropsch synthesis

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2011
To understand the carbon isotope fractionation during the mineral-catalyzed Fischer-Tropsch synthesis of hydrocarbons under hydrothermal conditions, experiments on formic acid were carried out at 300°C and 35 MPa using gold tubes in the presence of Fe as

Queries about biogenesis of Quaternary gas in Qaidam Basin, NW China

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2008
: Organic geochemistry of Quaternary source rocks is not favorable to the generation of natural gas, such as the low organic matter content, the thin layer, and the low ethanoic acid content in mudstones.

Mixed‐Metal Promotion in a Manganese‐Molybdenum Oxynitride as Catalyst to Integrate C─C and C─N Coupling Reactions for the Direct Synthesis of Acetonitrile from Syngas and Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Effect of calcium promoter on nano structure iron catalyst for Fischer–Tropsch synthesis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Science and Technology, 2015
The Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) has been recognized as a heterogeneous surface-catalyzed polymerization process. During this process, CHx monomers formed via the hydrogenation of adsorbed CO on transition metals produce hydrocarbons and oxygenates ...
