Two-qubit non-locality interacting time-dependently with a parametric amplifier cavity with Stark-shift nonlinearity

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2021
We have explored the non-locality of two qubits interacting time-dependently with a nondegenerate parametric amplifier cavity fields in the presence of the Stark shift interaction term.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Inference for the Process Performance Index of Products on the Basis of Power-Normal Distribution

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The process performance index (PPI) can be a simple metric to connect the conforming rate of products. The properties of the PPI have been well studied for the normal distribution and other widely used lifetime distributions, such as the Weibull, Gamma ...

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Fisher information matrix-based nonlinear system conversion for state estimation [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE ICCA 2010, 2010
In practical target tracking, a number of improved measurement conversion techniques have been developed and proofed to be superior to the standard (extended) Kalman filtering (KF) in Cartesian coordinates. The framework of conversion technique exhibits fundamental pros and cons and therefore associated with different performance as pointed out in [1].

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Fisher Information Matrix of Unipolar Activation Function-Based Multilayer Perceptrons

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2019
The multilayer perceptrons (MLPs) are widely used in many fields, however, singularities in the parameter space may seriously influence the learning dynamics of MLPs and cause strange learning behaviors. Given that the singularities are the subspaces of the parameter space where the Fisher information matrix (FIM) degenerates, the FIM plays a key role ...

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).
