Theoretical Insights into Bifurcated Intramolecular Dihydrogen Bonds
ChemPhysChem, Volume 25, Issue 4, February 16, 2024.The π‐electron delocalization assisted bifurcated dihydrogen bonds, DHBs, in (1Z,4Z)‐1,4‐dipentene‐3‐bora‐1,5‐diol and its simple derivatives are analysed. Each of such moiety is characterized by three conformations, with bifurcated DHB, with single DHB and the conformation where such interactions do not occur.
