2021The study compared the habitat conditions and species composition of phytocoenosis between beaver ponds in different age categories: 5−10 years, 11−15 years and older than 15 years. The survey was conducted on 11 beaver ponds located on various watercourses in northern Poland. Prior to flooding, an alder stand was present at all sites.
