A Note on Hall Operators for Fitting Classes
Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 1985The Hall operators \(L_{\pi}( )\) and \(K_{\pi}( )\) for Fitting classes of finite soluble groups are very well known, see for instance \textit{O. J. Brison} [Arch. Math. 33, 1-9 (1979; Zbl 0405.20022)]. In this paper a third Hall operator L'\({}_{\pi}( )\) is introduced; we define L'\({}_{\pi}({\mathfrak F})\) as the class of those finite soluble ...

A family of Fitting classes of supersoluble groups
Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1995A class of groups that is closed with respect to subnormal subgroups and normal products is called a Fitting class. Given a finite soluble group G, one may ask for the Fitting class (G) generated by G, that is the intersection of all Fitting classes containing G.

Changes in cardiovascular fitness following physical fitness classes.
The Journal of family practice, 1985A program aimed at improving cardiovascular fitness was evaluated. This program involved 298 volunteer middle-aged participants who initially had a bicycle ergometry test to calculate fitness. Other measurements included body fat (estimated by skin fold measurements) and a rating of coronary-prone personality.
