Bear management changes management actions according to the horizontal axis of the population size and the vertical axis of the number of nuisance bears. Aiming for the target population size of Ntar, Actions I and II protect the bears, and Action IV reduces the population.

Stability of Quadratic Functional Equations via the Fixed Point and Direct Method
Cădariu and Radu applied the fixed point theorem to prove the stability theorem of Cauchy and Jensen functional equations. In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability via the fixed point method and investigate new theorems via ...

Stability of additivity and fixed point methods [PDF]
We show that the fixed point methods allow to investigate Ulam’s type stability of additivity quite efficiently and precisely. Using them we generalize, extend and complement some earlier classical results concerning the stability of the additive Cauchy equation.

Population size and dynamics fundamentally shape speciation by influencing genetic drift, founder events, and adaptive potential. Small populations may speciate rapidly due to stronger drift, whereas large populations harbor more genetic diversity, which can alter divergence trajectories. We highlight theoretical models that incorporate population size

In this paper, using fixed point methods, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of random homomorphisms in random C∗-algebras and random Lie C∗-algebras and of derivations on non-Archimedean random C∗-algebras and non-Archimedean random Lie C ...

We introduce a new regularization iterative algorithm for equilibrium and fixed point problems of nonexpansive mapping. Then, we prove a strong convergence theorem for nonexpansive mappings to solve a unique solution of the variational inequality and the

In this article, a new kind of bilateral symmetric additive type functional equation is introduced. One of the interesting characteristics of the equation is the fact that it is ideal for investigating the Ulam–Hyers stabilities in two prominent normed ...

Evolutionary interplay between viruses and R‐loops
Viruses interact with specialized nucleic acid structures called R‐loops to influence host transcription, epigenetic states, latency, and immune evasion. This Perspective examines the roles of R‐loops in viral replication, integration, and silencing, and how viruses co‐opt or avoid these structures.

Transfinite methods in metric fixed‐point theory [PDF]
This is a brief survey of the use of transfinite induction in metric fixed‐point theory. Among the results discussed in some detail is the author′s 1989 result on directionally nonexpansive mappings (which is somewhat sharpened), a result of Kulesza and Lim giving conditions when countable compactness implies compactness, a recent inwardness result for

On a system of monotone variational inclusion problems with fixed-point constraint
In this paper, we study the problem of finding the solution of the system of monotone variational inclusion problems recently introduced by Chang et al.
