Parallel Iterative Methods for Solving the Split Common Fixed Point Problem in Hilbert Spaces

Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, 2019
We introduce three new parallel algorithms for solving the split common fixed point problem in Hilbert spaces. Those iterative methods for solving split common fixed point problems which involve step sizes that depend on the norm of a given bounded ...

Approximating a Zero of Sum of Two Monotone Operators Which Solves a Fixed Point Problem in Reflexive Banach Spaces

Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, 2019
The purpose of this paper is to introduce an iterative method for approximating a point in the set of zeros of the sum of two monotone mappings, which is also a solution of a fixed point problem for a Bregman strongly nonexpansive mapping in a real ...

Iterative methods for the split feasibility problem and the fixed point problem in Banach spaces

Optimization, 2019
In this work, we suggest modifications of the self-adaptive method for solving the split feasibility problem and the fixed point problem of nonexpansive mappings in the framework of Banach spaces.

The Split Equality Fixed Point Problem for Quasi-Pseudo-Contractive Mappings Without Prior Knowledge of Norms

Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, 2019
Recently, Chang et al. (2015) constructed an algorithm that converges weakly to the solution of the split equality fixed point problem for quasi-pseudo-contractive mappings under some suitable conditions.

The Fixed-Point Problem

2015
The goal of this chapter is to devise a method for approximating solutions of equations. This method is called fixed point iteration and is a process whereby a sequence of more and more accurate approximations is found. The convergence of this sequence to the desired solution is discussed. The procedure is then refined to give Newton’s method.

AN ITERATIVE SCHEME FOR FIXED POINT PROBLEMS

Advances in Mathematics: Scientific Journal, 2021
In this paper, we introduce a new three steps iteration process, prove that our newly proposed iterative scheme can be used to approximate the fixed point of a contractive-like mapping and establish some convergence results for our newly proposed iterative scheme generated by a mapping satisfying condition (E) in the framework of uniformly convex ...

Weak and Strong Convergence Theorems for New Demimetric Mappings and the Split Common Fixed Point Problem in Banach Spaces

Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization, 2018
In this paper, we consider the split common fixed point problem for new demimetric mappings in Banach spaces. Using the idea of Mann’s iteration, we prove a weak convergence theorem for finding a solution of the split common fixed point problem in Banach
